New Book Claims Paul Ryan Wept During Attack on U.S. Capitol

(Bob Hague, WRN) Former House Speaker Paul Ryan is reported to have wept during the attack on the U.S. Capitol.

That revelation regarding the former Republican congressman from Janesville is contained in a forthcoming book by journalist Mark Leibovich entitled ‘Thank You For Your Servitude,’ a copy of which was obtained by CNN.

Leibovich writes that Ryan told him he's not much of a crier, but something snapped in him as he watched the Capitol attack by supporters of former President Donald Trump.

Ryan said he was “absolutely horrified,” although according to Leibovich, he did not grapple with questions of complicity in the attack.
