National Mastitis Council Encouraging Sign Up for NMC Scholars Program

(Wisconsin Ag Connection) -The National Mastitis Council is encouraging full-time graduate students interested in controlling mastitis, promoting udder health and improving milk quality to apply for the NMC Scholars program.
According to the Wisconsin Ag Connection, successful applicants earn an expense-paid trip to attend the NMC 62nd annual meeting next winter in Atlanta. The group is awarding up to four scholarships, with at least two of the scholarships going to graduate students of a university or college outside of the United States and Canada.
Eligible candidates must be NMC members and enrolled full time at a college or university in a dairy, animal or veterinary science, microbiology or related program at the time of application deadline. Applications are due by July 31. For more information or to apply, call 414-587-5839.
