Wisconsin BBB Warns of Amazon Prime Day Scams

(Raymond Neupert, WRN) -Amazon's Prime Day runs on Tuesday and Wednesday and the Better Business Bureau is reminding you to shop smart.

Spokesperson Bao Vang says just be careful and watch out for phishing scams, misleading advertisements, and look alike websites. "We just cannot resist a sale and scammers know that they know our emotions are running high at this moment."

Vang says that while Amazon is offering some good deals, online shopping can be risky. "Amazon has now risen to the number one spot the number one brand most impersonated by scammers."

Vang says look closely at the fine print, even on Amazon's own sales, in case someone is trying to sell something that seems too good to be true.
