Wisconsin Republican's Video Played During Tuesday's Testimony on January 6th

(Bob Hague, WRN) Tuesday’s explosive House January 6th Committee hearing included the video that congressman Mike Gallagher made as the riot unfolded at the Capitol.

The Green Bay Republican directly addressed Donald Trump. “We have got to stop this. Mr. President, you have got to stop this. You are the only person who can call this off. Call it off. The election is over. Call it off. Call it off. This is bigger than you. It's bigger than any member of Congress. It is about the United States of America, which is more important than any politician. Call it off. It's over.”

Former White House aide Cassidy Hutchinson quoted Trump as saying “they’re not here to hurt me,” when informed that some people at his January 6 rally had weapons, and that he wanted Secret Service metal detectors removed.

Hutchinson also said she told White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows that Capitol police officers were being overrun, but that Meadows was unconcerned.
