Jackson County K9 Officer Completes Training

The Jackson County Sheriff’s Department has introduced their new K9 Officer Legend.

For the past 14 weeks, Patrol Sergeant Stan Edington and K9 Partner Legend have been enrolled in McDonough K9’s training and certification program near Blaine, Minnesota which they successfully completed on Friday, June 24th.

Legend is a Belgian Malinois now certified in tracking, protection, evidence recovery, and narcotics. Legend is Sgt. Edington’s second patrol canine from McDonough K9. The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office wants to thank all members of the community who have supported the K9 program.

Its success could not be achieved without their support.
