Repeat Child Porn Offender Changes Plea

(Mike Leischner, WSAU) A repeat child porn offender has changed his plea to the latest battery of charges against him.

According to Mike Leischner of WSAU, on Monday Travis Errthum announced he's now pleading no contest to more than a dozen counts of possession of child porn after officers found images and videos in his possession three years ago.

No sentencing date was announced, though officials will conduct a presentence investigation over the next few weeks. The 49-year-old had previously pleaded not guilty by reason of mental disease or defect, saying he had an addiction to young girls.

Previous charges against him date back to 2008, which led to prison time.
