Wausau Police Arrest Man for 7th OWI

(Mike Leischner, WSAU) -Wausau Police arrested a man accused of his 7th OWI offense this weekend.

According to Mike Leischner of WSAU, the unidentified driver struck a power pole at 7 AM Saturday and drove off. Residents of the neighborhood called the incident in, and as police were investigating they caught wind of a vehicle parked nearby with front-end damage and a man urinating in a public park.

They were able to connect the dots between the incidents, and arrested the man on the spot. Charges against him are pending, and police thanked the alert public for helping to take the man off the road before he could do more damage.
