Neillsville Fire Department Responds to One Vehicle Accident

The Neillsville Fire Department responded to a one vehicle accident Friday evening.

According to Neillsville Fire Chief Matt Meyer, they received a call of a one vehicle accident one quarter of a mile west of River Avenue on Portner Road in the Township of Levis.

The driver of the vehicle had missed a curve in the road and drove into the north ditch. The driver was transported to Marshfield Medical Center-Neillsville.

The Department had no injuries on their part, they were on scene for half an hour, and they had mutual aid from the Clark County Sheriff’s Department.
