Greenwood City Council Hears from Candidate for 68th Assembly District

A candidate for the 68th Assembly District spoke to the Greenwood City Council at their meeting.

Karen Hurd came to speak to Council to introduce herself as a candidate for the 68th District State Assembly. The Council also approved to donate $1,000 to the Greenwood School Districts summer rec program.

The Council also approved to reroof the Wastewater Treatment Plant through Maurer Roofing, INC for $19,950 and appraise and put up a parcel of land for sale. The Board also approved several operator’s licenses, liquor licenses, beer licenses, and cigarette licenses.

Finally, the council approved to change the security level at the Branstiter Museum.
