Tuesday, June 14th, 2022 -- 4:00 PM
The Clark County Sheriff’s Department welcomes Deputy Kenton Anderson.
Deputy Anderson was hired as the Department’s newest Patrol Deputy. He will be assigned to the jail while he awaits his start in the patrol academy. Deputy Anderson was asked a few questions to help the citizens of Clark County get to know him better.
If you see him, make sure to give him a big welcome. He was interested in applying to the Clark County Sheriff’s Department because his father is a former deputy with the Clark County Sheriff's Office.
He had many positive things to say about his time here, which motivated him to apply. Deputy Anderson grew up in Athens and his hobbies include riding motorcycles, turkey hunting, and reading.
Deputy Anderson just graduated from UW-Platteville with a bachelors in criminal justice, and a minor in sociology. He feels he’s very goal oriented. He completes the assignments given to him in their entirety.
As for his professional 5-year plan, he believes he would like to become a detective. But, he has to take baby-steps first, which includes getting acclimated to the job, and doing his best is his first priority for now.
