Mosinee Man Found Guilty of Death of a Loyal Woman

A Mosinee man charged with the death of a missing Loyal woman was found guilty of the crime in Clark County Court on Friday.
According to the criminal complaint, the woman, Cassandra Ayon, who was last seen in October of 2020, stated that Jesus Contreras Perez had stalked her on several occasions.
One witness stated that, back in July, she and Ayon were walking when Perez got out of his vehicle and approached them. Another witness stated that back in June of last year, Perez made threatening comments and even physically injured Ayon.
After a week-long jury trial, Perez was found guilty of 1st degree intentional homicide, hiding a corpse, and stalking. A sentencing date hasn’t been set at this time, but he could face life in prison.
