A man arrested after a high speed chase in Black River Falls entered a plea in Jackson County Court.
According to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department, back in February of last year, they received reports of a suspicious vehicle. The vehicle was also seen running a stop sign at a fast speed.
When deputies tried to pull over the vehicle, the driver, Andrew Mills, fled at a high speed and a chase began through Black River Falls. Mills ran several stop signs and red lights. He also hit an unmarked police vehicle. Mills was eventually taken into custody.
Earlier this year, Mills was found guilty of 2nd-Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety and Operating While under the Influence, 4th offense. He was sentenced to 3 years of probation with a condition of 6 months jail time.
