Two People Arrested for Drug Charges in Wood County Appear in Court

Two people arrested after the execution of a search warrant in Wood County appeared in court.

On April 20th, the Wood County Sheriff's Department executed a search warrant on CTH Z in the Town of Saratoga, in Wood County. Investigators seized quantities of methamphetamine, cocaine, marijuana, and prescription medication inside the residence.

Jamy Brost and Perry Carlstrom were taken into custody in connection to those substances. Brost had been previously released on bond for an arrest that took place on April 15th for possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Multiple charges were forwarded to the Wood County District Attorney's Office including Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Cocaine, Possession THC, Possession of Prescription Drugs without a Prescription, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Bail Jumping

During Brost’s and Carlstrom’s arraignments they entered a not guilty plea to the charges against them. Both are scheduled to be back in court on August 12th.

The Wisconsin Rapids Police Department, Nekoosa Police Department, Central Wisconsin Drug Task Force, and Wood County Human Services assisted the Wood County Sheriff's Department in this investigation.
