Schofield Man Accused of Illegally Registering to Vote Skips Court Appearance

(Mike Leischner, WSAU) A Schofield man accused of illegally registering to vote skipped a court appearance on Thursday.
According to Mike Leischner of WSAU, Timothy Hedstrom is now wanted for arrest after failing to make an initial appearance for a count of election fraud, despite being given notice of the hearing.
Investigators say that he lied on a registration form by saying he wasn't serving a felony sentence, when in fact he was on probation for a suspended sentence for felony theft, something that still makes him ineligible to vote.
If found guilty he could now be sentenced for both charges, no further action was immediately scheduled, it's unclear if Hedstrom has an attorney.
