Curtiss Man Enters No Contest Plea in Sexual Assault Case

A Curtiss man facing charges of sexual assault of a child entered a plea in Clark County Court.

According to court records, Ty Umback of Curtiss is accused of sexually assaulting young girls. One of the girls stated that Umback told her not to tell anyone or she would be in trouble.

During his plea hearing on Thursday, he was found guilty of, due to a no contest plea, two counts of repeated sexual assault of the same child and one count of 2nd degree sexual assault of a child. He’s scheduled for sentencing on October 17th
