TREMPEALEAU CO. MAN CHARGED WITH WIFE'S DEATH

A Trempealeau County man has been charged in the death of his wife. A criminal complaint says 52-year-old Daniel Gunderson shot his wife Laurie in their Strum driveway on Saturday. He was charged today with first-degree homicide. A criminal complaint says Gunderson blew up after his wife came to take some of her belongings. He then allegedly called the sheriff's department and admitted he shot her in her car. Gunderson is being held on a 500-thousand dollar cash bond.
