Clark County Board of Supervisors Approves Sale of County Land

The Clark County Board of Supervisors heard a couple presentations and reports to begin their meeting.
The Board heard a drug presentation from Josh Niemi and a presentation on broadband and why it’s important for Clark County from Mitch Weber. The Board also heard the 2021 Health Department Report and a letter from Clark County Sheriff Scott Haines regarding ongoing staffing shortages.
The Board also approved having Nancy Amacher replace Roy Tyznik on the County Community Services Board. The Board also approved the sale of county land in the Town of Foster near Rock Dam Lake. They also approved a subdivision and sale of county land in the Town of Foster off Hay Creek Road.
The Board also approved amendments to the Administrative Compensation Policy. The Board also approved a resolution creating revenue bond financing with Bug Tussel. This partnership will help with future projects regarding broadband infrastructure in the county.
Finally, the board approved the 2nd, and final reading, of an ordinance regarding renewable energy systems.
