A Curtiss man has been sentenced for possession and 10th OWI.
According to court records, in December of last year, authorities received a report of a truck in the ditch in the Town of Hoard at the intersection of Center Road and Romadka Avenue.
When authorities arrived, the truck had struck a large street sign and was sitting in the ditch, running, with the lights still on. Authorities found Terry Dumler passed out in the truck.
Dumler was on probation, had a revoked driver’s license, a .02 restriction, an ignition interlock device requirement, and eight prior Operating While under the Influence convictions. A search of the vehicle found drugs and other paraphernalia.
During his court appearance on Wednesday, Dumler was found guilty of his 10th OWI and possession of methamphetamine. He was scheduled to 5 years in prison and 4 years of extended supervision.
