An Eau Claire Woman Has Been Sentenced for Trying To Sell a Child For Sex

An Eau Claire woman has been sentenced for trying to sell a child for sex.

Catherine Ottinger was arrested last April after a three-year investigation. She pleaded no contest to the charged of causing a child over 13 to view sexual activity back in February. She was sentenced to three years of probation.

Mark Scoville was also arrested at the time. He’s facing over a dozen charges including second degree sexual assault and human trafficking. He’s scheduled to be in court next month.
