Augusta Students Honored at Excellence in Education Banquet

On May 4th, Cluster A held their annual Excellence in Education banquet.

Cluster A is a consortium of area schools that includes Augusta, Durand-Arkansaw, Eleva-Strum, Fall Creek, Gilmanton, Mondovi, Osseo-Fairchild and Whitehall. WEAU news anchor, Bob Gallaher, emceed the event.

Three seniors from each school were selected to be honored based on their achievements, contributions, volunteer work and involvement in their schools. Congratulations to Augusta seniors Kyle Shult, Bailey Peterson and Kirsten Willms on their selections.

Each senior then selected a staff member to honor that they felt was very influential in their high school experience. Kyle chose art teacher, Tasha Newton; Bailey selected phy ed teacher and coach, Zach Lee; and Kirsten chose social studies teacher, Nick Damico.
