Tomah School Board Approves LaGrange Elementary Principal

At their May 2nd Board Academy Meeting, the Tomah Area School District Board of Education took action to approve Mrs. Kelly McMahon as the Principal of LaGrange Elementary.

Mrs. McMahon is replacing Mrs. Clark who is transitioning to the District Business Manager. Mrs. McMahon will officially begin the duties as Principal on July 1st, 2022. Mrs. Kelly McMahon received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Education from UWLa Crosse in 2012.

She continued her education at Viterbo University. She received her Masters of Education with an emphasis in Special Education in 2019. Following graduation, she participated in Viterbo’s Educational Leadership Program, receiving her Principal and Director of Instruction Licenses in 2021.

Mrs. McMahon is currently working on her Reading 316 License through Viterbo as well. Mrs. McMahon began her educational career at Trempealeau Elementary in 2012. She served as a fifth grade teacher there for 3 years and loved the experience of the small community.

Mrs. McMahon continued her educational career at Eagle Bluff Elementary in Onalaska for the last 6 years. In addition to teaching fifth grade, Mrs. McMahon was a leader in math and ELA curriculum, collaboration, and equity for the building and district.
