Wednesday, May 4th, 2022 -- 1:01 PM
The Neillsville School Board held two Special Board meetings on Monday.
The first was regarding the expulsion of a middle school student through June 2nd for refusing or neglecting to obey the rules established by the school district and for conduct while at school and while under the supervision of a school authority which endangered the property, health, or safety of self or others. The Board approved the expulsion.
The student will be allowed conditional eligibility as early as September 1st to RVA classes for the first semester, and in-person classes for second semester, beginning on January 23, 2023, if the student does not violate any further rules of the district.
The student is not allowed on school grounds through January 22, 2023, without prior permission from administration. The student could also lose some of these conditions if further misbehavior would continue.
The Board also approved the bus bid from Mid-State Bus Sales in the amount of $99,100 as presented. The Board also approved Dewey Poeschel as the TIF delegate for 2022-2023, approved Deanna Heiman as the CESA 10 delegate for 2022-2023, approved Paul Opelt as the WASB delegate for 2022-2023, approved Peggy Grap as the alternate WASB delegate for 2022-2023, approved the salary schedule for certified staff as presented, and approved initial adoption of Policy DFG.
