Wisconsin Commodity Prices for March

(Wisconsin Ag Connection) The average price received by farmers for corn during March in Wisconsin was $6.34 per bushel.
According to the Wisconsin Ag Connection, that's according to the latest USDA Agricultural Prices report, which notes the crop sold for 50-cents above the February price and $1.59 more March 2021. Soybean prices averaged $15.20 per bushel.
That was also 50-cents higher for the month and $2.20 above last year. The average oat price was 83-cents lower than February at $5.39 per bushel, but $2.24 above March 2021.
All hay prices in Wisconsin averaged $151.00 per ton in March. This was $2.00 below the previous month and $7.00 lower than last March. The alfalfa hay price fell by a dollar from the prior month at $161.00, but rose $11.00 compared to 2021.
And the average price received for other hay was $120.00, $9.00 below February price, but $3.00 above last March.
