Clark County Sheriff's Department Welcomes New Communications Deputy

The Clark County Sheriff’s Department is happy to welcome Communications Deputy Cheyanne Spuhler to their team.

Deputy Spuhler, who grew up in Loyal, was hired as their newest full-time Communications Deputy. Deputy Spuhler was asked a few questions to help the citizens of Clark County get to know her better. If you see her, make sure to give her a big welcome.

She decided to apply for the position because she’d been looking to get into full-time dispatching for some time. She works in Fire/EMS and wanted to work in the public safety realm.

Some of her hobbies and interests include that she loves being a volunteer Firefighter / EMT, fishing, and spending time with her children. With her background in Fire/EMS, she believes that gives her a good foundation to build upon while training as a communications deputy.

As for her 5-year plan, she said she’d love to still be working in the Department in dispatch, but to also keep being a volunteer Fire/EMT on the side.
