Clark County Board of Supervisors Approves Right of Way Easement for Dairyland Power Cooperative

-The Clark County Board of Supervisors gave the Oath of Office to the new and returning members of the Clark County Board.

The Board also held the elections for Board President, etc. and for some of the committees that needed Chairs. They also had the appointments for the various committees.

The Board then heard a presentation regarding Farm Technology Days in Clark County and heard the Veterans Services 2021 Annual Report. Two resolutions were postponed until the next meeting. The final resolution, a utility right of way easement for Dairyland Power Cooperative, was approved by the Board.

The Board also held a public hearing for a proposed renewable energy ordinance. After the hearing, the Board approved the first reading of the ordinance. If approved, this ordinance will allow the county to impose any ordinance on proposed solar, wind, or other renewable energy systems.
