Man Arrested in Marshfield After Interfering During a Garage Fire

A man was arrested after interfering with firefighters during a garage fire on Saturday.

According to the Marshfield Police Department, they were dispatched to a report of a garage fire on Saturday, April 16th. Upon arrival a male subject continued to disobey firefighter and police officer orders to stay away from the fire. The male was arrested and transported to jail. During the investigation the male was  also found to be in possession of multiple illegal items.

A request for charges will be forwarded to the Wood County District Attorney's office for Resisting an Officer, Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of THC 2nd+, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Masking Agent and Interfering with Fire Fighting.
