Three People Killed in Two Vehicle Accident in Marathon County

Three people were killed in a two vehicle crash on Highway 29 in Marathon County on Saturday.

According to the Marathon County Sheriff’s Department, the accident occurred around 11:30pm Saturday in the Town of Frankfort. The victim in one vehicle was 38-year-old Jennifer Krug of Medford. The victims in the second vehicle were 21-year-old Sophie Sullivan and 20-year-old Audrie Stephens, both of Appelton.

Officials also said a good samaritan stopped to try and help the victims and was hit by a car. He was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
