A Tomah man was found guilty of beating a three-year-old child to death.
According to the Tomah Police Department, in May of 2019 they received a report of a medical emergency at a home on Jodi Circle in the City of Tomah. Authorities responded to the home and began life saving procedures on the 3-year-old. Life saving measures were also taken at a local hospital, but they were unable to save the child.
After an autopsy, it was determined the child had suffered multiple blunt force trauma injuries, resulting in death. 37-year-old Marcus Anderson was identified as a suspect and, after an investigation, he was charged for the crime. After a jury trial, he was found guilty of the crime.
