Claire is the Pet of the Week from the Clark County Humane Society made possible by Courteous Canine in Black River Falls and Creekside Kennels south of Black River Falls.

Name: Claire

Age: 6-months-old

Breed: Hound Mix

Claire is this week's CCHS Pet of the Week!  Claire is a Hound mix who is about six months old and weighs 49#.  Claire was surrendered to CCHS from a local breeder when she just wasn't needed any more.  Claire is a pretty girl with a wavy coat of black and tan with some white highlights.

She has rather unique markings on her feet, too.  Claire is a shy girl who is in need of love, time and socialization.  She just needs to learn how to be a dog and enjoy life!  She would do best in a securely fenced yard so that she can't wander off and be lost.

She would love to find a patient home where she can learn what it's like to be a house dog and have a family of her very own.  If you can provide Claire with the love and security she needs, please apply for this pretty girl today!  Adoption applications can be submitted through our website:   www.cchs-petshelter.org/applying-to-adopt.

Do you have a love for cats and dogs and have been thinking it would be nice to help out at CCHS?  Well, now's your chance!  Whether it's a few hours a week, one day a month, or something in between, this is your opportunity to try it out.

We are very much in need of volunteers!  You can learn more and sign up on our website:  https://www.cchs-petshelter.org/volunteer or email April at [email protected].  Come join our CCHS volunteer family!
