Fairchild Man Arrested After High Speed Chase in Jackson County Appears in Court

A Fairchild man arrested after a high speed chase in Jackson County back in March appeared in Jackson County Court.

According to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Officer, a deputy attempted to make a traffic stop on a vehicle on County Road A in the Town of Hixton. The vehicle fled the scene, but then crashed into a ditch.

The driver, Robert Wilkinson, was arrested. He’s facing charges of vehicle operating fleeing an officer, bail jumping, operating while revoked, and carrying a concealed knife.

During his recent arraignment, he entered a not guilty plea to the charges against him. He’s scheduled to be back in court on April 20th.
