Black River Falls School District Closed Friday Due To Computer Hack

The Black River Falls School District was closed on Friday after an incident involving unauthorized access to their IT network.

The District was made aware of the situation Thursday morning. Their network includes access to student information, parent contact information, and medicine logs. The District has contacted the FBI and state cybersecurity teams.

They hope to be open on Monday with or without technology. The Tomah School District experienced a similar situation on Thursday
