Wisconsin Assembly Speaker Meets Judge's Request to Provide Records
Friday, April 8th, 2022 -- 9:00 AM
(Bob Hague, WRN) Assembly Speaker Robin Vos has met a judge’s request to provide records requested by a liberal oversight group.
Dane County Judge Valerie Bailey-Rihn on Thursday said there is no reason to continue pressing Vos for more records relating the partisan election investigation headed by former state Supreme Court Justice Michael Gableman.
Vos' office on Wednesday provided ten-to-twenty thousand emails to the group American Oversight. Judge Bailey-Rihn had ordered that last month, but concluded Thursday that little more could be done, after a cybersecurity attorney testified it's unlikely more records could be recovered with more scrutiny of Vos' and his staffers' personal phones.
