Tomah Fire Department Respond to Lemonweir Elementary

The Tomah Fire Department and Tomah Police Department were called to Lemonweir Elementary in Tomah Tuesday morning.

At 10:15am they received reports of smoke coming from the kitchen. Staff and students were evacuated quickly and safely. There was not an active fire and the hoses were not used. Everyone was safe, learning resumed, and lunch was even served on time.

They thank the Tomah fire and police department for their quick response. The students did an excellent job following safety procedures during this event.
