(Raymond Neupert, WRN) You may have a tax refund waiting for you if you haven't filed your taxes in a few years.

You may have a tax refund waiting for you, if you haven't filed your taxes in a few years. IRS Spokesman Christopher Miller says there's a lot of money waiting for people. "In Wisconsin. It's estimated that there are just under 22,000 individuals that could still get almost $20 million in unclaimed refunds."

Miller says time is running out. "By law there's only a three year window to claim these refunds, which closes with this year's April tax deadline. The IRS estimates that the midpoint for the potential refunds that are unclaimed for 2018 in Wisconsin to be $755."

You have until April 18th to file your 2018 taxes and claim those refunds. You can find out more online at I R S dot GOV.
