Neillsville Fire Department Responds to Fire Alarm

The Neillsville Fire Department responded to a fire alarm this morning.
According to Fire Chief Matt Meyer, they received reports of an alarm around 6:37am at Riverside Assisted Living at 1210 W. Fourth Street. A resident was cooking and burnt their food causing the alarms to go off. The department cleared the scene.
They were on scene for 20 minutes, there was no damage, and there was minimal smoke. They received aid from the Clark County Sheriff’s Department and they had no injuries on their part.
