Fairchild Man Arrested After High Speed Chase in Jackson County

A Fairchild man was arrested after a high speed chase in Jackson County Monday night.

According to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Officer, around 9:28pm Monday night, a deputy attempted to make a traffic stop on a vehicle on County Road A in the Town of Hixton. The vehicle fled the scene, but then crashed into a ditch.

The driver, 53-year-old Robert Wilkinson was arrested. He’s facing several charges and is being held in the Jackson County Jail.
