Clark County Man Sentenced for Animal Neglect

-A Clark County man was sentenced for animal neglect charges in Clark County Court.
According to court records, Russell Sandley was arrested after officers were dispatched to his home in Humbird. They had received reports of animals being neglected at Sandley’s home. Officers discovered many dogs at Sandley’s home and even found remains of dogs. They were also told that the bigger dogs were eating the smaller ones and all the dogs had bones showing.
During his court appearance, Sandley was found guilty of, due to a no contest plea, two counts of intentionally failing to give an animal food. Several other charges were dismissed and read in. Sandley was sentenced to 20 days in jail. He’s also not allowed to train or own any animals for two years after his jail time is served.
