Wisconsin Pork Association Announces Winners of 2022 Youth Pig Project Program

(Wisconsin Ag Connection) The Wisconsin Pork Association has announced the winners of its 2022 youth pig project program.

According to the Wisconsin Ag Connection, this year, 48 scholarships were presented to 4-H and FFA members in the amount of $50 each to be used for their swine projects.

Some local recipients include Tymeka Eisberner, Fairchild; Hadley Bergman, Augusta; Liam Whitmire, Thorp; Max Koepp, Neillsville; Sophia Bergman, Augusta; and Trey Schmidt, Spencer.

The Wisconsin Pork Association Youth Committee developed the program to assist youth in developing pork production projects. The committee wanted to enhance project development, while hoping to educate more youth on careers available within the Wisconsin pork industry.
