Augusta 8th Graders Compete at National History Day
Monday, March 21st, 2022 -- 8:00 AM
Congratulations to the Augusta 8th graders who competed at the regional National History Day competition.
All 3 entries will be heading to the state competition. Junior Group Exhibit received 1st Place with "The Fight for Feminism: Paving the Way for the 19th Amendment." The group consists of Annabelle Goetz, Hannah Robinson, Lindsey Strauch, Rachel West, & Zoey Guntner.
The Junior Group Documentary received 2nd Place for "The Challenger: A Rush to Launch." The group consists of Nyaeli Schloneger & Colton Wincse.
Finally, the Junior Individual Exhibit received 2nd Place for "The 'One Buck' Bill: Regulating Wisconsin's Deer Population.” The project was done by Brianna Decker.
This is a huge accomplishment and the District is so proud of how hard they worked. They wish them luck at state.
