Neillsville Fire Department Responds to Woodshed Fire

The Neillsville Fire Department responded to an outside woodshed fire yesterday evening.

According to Neillsville Fire Chief Matt Meyer, the fire occurred around 10:55pm at N7163 County Road G in the Township of Sief. The woodshed included an outdoor furnace and is a total loss. The Department received mutual aid from the Clark County Sheriff’s Department with traffic control.

The Neillsville Ambulance Service and Greenwood and Loyal Fire Departments were on standby, but not needed. The Department had no injuries on their part and they were on scene for an hour and 10 minutes.
