Wisconsin's February Federal Order Class III Milk Price

(Wisconsin Ag Connection) The USDA announced that the February Federal Order Class III milk price rose to $20.91 per hundredweight.
According to the Wisconsin Ag Connection, that was 53-cents higher for the month, and $5.16 more than February 2021. For the entire year, the Class III price averaged $17.08 throughout 2021.
Prices peaked at $18.96 in May, but fell as low as $15.75 during February. During the 2020 calendar year, the Class III price averaged $18.16. Meanwhile, the Class IV component price was 91-cents higher for the month at $24.00, and $10.81 over the previous year.
Earlier this week, Wisconsin's all milk price for January was announced at $23.40 cwt., which was $1.80 higher than last month's price, and $5.90 above January 2021. It was also the highest milk price since November 2014 when it reached $24.40.
