Black River Falls Fire Department Responds to Structure Fire

The Black River Falls Fire Department responded to a fire south of Black River Falls Tuesday evening.

The fire occurred around 7:47pm on Clinton Street for a fire on a porch. It was a single story residence with heavy smoke showing from the eves. There was heavy fire damage to the attic and roof system, requiring extensive overhaul.

The Black River Falls Fire Department was assisted by an engine from the Hixton Fire Department and the Jackson County Sheriff's Department.
