Recommendation in Gableman Report Being Panned By Both Sides of the Aisle

(Bob Hague, WRN) A recommendation in the Gableman report is getting panned.

The interim report issued by the man in charge of Speaker Robin Vos’ probe of the 2020 presidential election includes a call for a “hard look” at decertifying the results. Attorneys for and leaders in the legislature have called that legally impossible.

In a tweet, Republican Assembly Majority Leader Jim Steineke called it a “fools errand.” Governor Tony Evers said Gableman’s investigation has never been “serious or functioning,” and he called on Republican leaders to wrap it up.
