Black River Falls Man Arrested for 8th OWI

A Black River Falls man was arrested for OWI over the weekend.

According to the Wisconsin State Patrol, they stopped a vehicle driven by 55-year-old John Whitewater around 9:18pm on Saturday on the I-94 exit ramp from Highway 12 on the north side of Black River Falls.

A field sobriety test was performed and Whitewater was taken to the hospital for a blood test. Whitewater was then taken to the Jackson County Jail. He’s facing charges of OWI, 8th offense.
