Marshfield Medical Center Facilities Still Require Masks
Tuesday, March 1st, 2022 -- 11:00 AM

While the CDC released new masking guidance, these guidelines do not apply to hospitals and other medical facilities, which are often considered high risk.
Masks are still required within Marshfield Medical Center’s facilities until further notice. This requirement is for all patients, visitors and staff unless extenuating circumstances apply. Increasing evidence supports better protection from COVID-19 by wearing a surgical mask compared to cloth masks.
If you enter with a cloth mask, you may be asked and offered a surgical mask for free. For more on our patient masking policy, click here: http://marshfieldclinic.org/patient-masking
