Black River Falls FFA Member Raises Money to Pay Off Negative Lunch Balances
Tuesday, March 1st, 2022 -- 8:00 AM
A Black River Falls FFA member, Lillian Ottum, saw a need to help students that have negative balances in their lunch accounts.
She developed a Supervised Agricultural Experience project to address that need. She enlisted the help of a friend, Anna Taylor, and sold stars during lunch shifts at Black River Falls High School during the week of February 14-17.
Her goal was to raise at least $150. She ended up raising $549.
