(Raymond Neupert, WRN) Workers at Oshkosh Defense are rallying to bring a major US Postal Service contract here to Wisconsin.
Members of the United Auto Workers at Oshkosh Defense say a decision to build next-generation postal trucks in South Carolina is a blow to Wisconsin.
Union president Bob Lynk says the company has seen a slow decline in employment, and workers are worried that more jobs will move out of state. Officials with Oshkosh Defense say that requirements under the U-S-P-S contract mean they have to build the new trucks in South Carolina.
