UW Oshkosh Cybersecurity Expert Says Beware of Cyber Attacks

(Bob Hague, WRN) Cyber attacks are fairly common, and for most people, it just takes a bit of foresight to keep themselves safe. 

UW Oshkosh cybersecurity expert Michael Patton says that big industry should be on guard as tensions rise in Europe. "Oshkosh Corporation is potentially the target of a nation-state whereas you know Bob's Trail's End is probably not."

Patton says nobody is too small or separated to be a target. “If you are breathing you have a digital footprint. You and whatever it is that you're working with could be the target of a cyberattack."

Most hackers gain access through people not being careful online and clicking links that may be infected with bots.
