(Bob Hague, WRN) The state Senate has approved several bills dealing with workplace vaccination requirements.
Senate Republicans on Tuesday approved Assembly bills that would allow employees to show their employers that they had a previous COVID-19 infection, in place of a vaccination card or negative test. The other Assembly bill would ban so-called “vaccine passports.”
Senate Republicans also passed bills allowing people who quit work over a vaccine mandate, or who are injured due to vaccination, to be eligible for unemployment compensation. All the bills face likely vetoes from Governor Tony Evers.
