Granton School District Using Winter Olympics to Teach Students

-The Granton School District has found a fun way to tie in their students learning with the 2022 Winter Olympics.
Using “thematics,” as a part of the District’s Strategic Plan, the different classes in the District are using their lessons and the Olympics to teach their students. I spoke with District Administrator James Kuchta and Kim Aumann, Granton’s Instructional and Behavioral Coach, and they discussed the initiative in more detail.
“Thematics” is part of Granton’s Strategic Plan that was recently created by school staff, students, and community members.
